8th International
Digital Spring
25-26/02/2022, French General Consulate, Istanbul
Lycée Saint Benoît of Ä°stanbul and its Digital Development and Research Committee (CDRN) organized the 8th edition of Printemps Numérique International (International Digital Spring) on February 25 and 26, 2022, in partnership with the French Embassy in Türkiye, France Education International (FEI- CIEP), the educational network CANOPÉ and the BahçeÈ™ehir University (BAU), hold at the Palais de France in Istanbul.
Like every year, teachers and students from universities, institutes, high schools and primary schools attended the various conferences with the possibility of publishing an article for the French-speaking research journal in the international human sciences Synergies Turkey. During this seventh edition, various current topics were discussed: interdisciplinary teaching, online learning, hybridization, Erasmus+, hackathon, machine learning, neurolinguistics.
Participating in the 8th edition of PNl was an exhilarating and enlightening experience that left an indelible mark on my perspective of the digital world and its implications for our modern lives. As I reflect on those two days , I am reminded of the privilege it was to be selected as a speaker from Lycée Charles de Gaulle, and to have had the opportunity to delve into the intriguing realm of the "Metaverse and Modern Life Philosophy."
The Lycée Saint Benoît and the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in Turkiye certify that Can Kocak participated as a speaker at the International Digital Spring on February 25-26, 2022.

Headmaster, Lycée Saint Benoit
Walking into the Palais de France in Istanbul, I was greeted by an atmosphere buzzing with intellectual curiosity and cultural diversity. The gathering of teachers, students, and professionals from various educational backgrounds and age groups was a testament to the universality of the digital revolution's impact. Taking the stage to deliver my presentation was a blend of nerves and excitement.
The topic of the "Metaverse and Modern Life Philosophy" was an ambitious one, intertwining the virtual realm with the very essence of human existence. As I delved into the concept of the metaverse – a space bridging the physical and digital worlds – and its implications for our understanding of reality, identity, and communication, I could feel the audience's engagement and curiosity.
The discussions that followed the presentation were both invigorating and humbling. Questions and conversations ranged from the ethical dimensions of a digitally augmented existence to the potential democratization of knowledge in a virtual landscape. Engaging with fellow attendees who brought diverse perspectives enriched my own understanding of the subject matter and left me with lasting connections.
Being a part of Printemps Numérique International not only broadened my intellectual horizons but also underscored the collaborative potential of such global platforms. The event was a convergence of minds, cultures, and ideas, reinforcing the notion that the digital sphere has the power to dissolve boundaries and unite us in our pursuit of knowledge and progress.
"Looking back, I am profoundly grateful for the opportunity to have represented my school and contributed to the discourse on the evolving digital landscape. The event's emphasis on interdisciplinary teaching, online learning, and cutting-edge concepts like machine learning and neurolinguistics reminded me of the dynamism inherent in education and the pressing need to adapt to our changing world.
Printemps Numérique International stands as a symbol of the transformative potential of technology and human intellect working in tandem. It has inspired me to continue exploring the intersections of philosophy, technology, and society, and to remain an active participant in shaping the digital narratives of our time."
